Company background

COREMAS POLARIS is a new company resulting from the merger, occurred in 2014, of two previous existing companies, Coremas and Polaris Italia, that have been working in two different but similar sectors.
Coremas was established in 1984 as a company specialized in the repair and maintenance and storage of maritime containers, enjoying all the benefits connected to its closeness to the Port of Livorno. At present, COREMAS POLARIS owns over than 60.000 Sqm. of service area and it is a spare parts dealer for worldwide manufacturers of reefer machines, including those belonging to a particular type of products such as the explosion proof units ATEX. The spare parts brands handled are branded CARRIER, THERMOKING, STARCOOL, and DAIKIN.

For several years, the company has also been providing design and building services for high performances cold rooms.

POLARIS ITALIA was initially focused on the production of multipurpose modular prefabs. At the beginning, the business was centered only on the production and the sale of modular units and prefabs for construction sites. Today COREMAS POLARIS offers a complex range of products and, above all, it builds every single product on specific customer requirements. It is also broadly operative on a top level carpentry through the production of container shelters and cabins through the modification of ISO shipping containers.
